Fabric Bag Dust Collector
The Fabric Bag Dust Collector, commonly known as a Baghouse, is the most widely used industrial dust collection system across the globe. It is engineered to capture Fine, Medium & Coarse Dust Particles from airstreams, ensuring clean air discharge and safe working environments.
Unlike cyclones that separate coarse particles mechanically, the Baghouse uses Fabric Filter Bags as the primary filtration medium. These filter bags, made from Woven or Non-Woven Fabrics such as polyester, aramid (Nomex), acrylic, PTFE-coated, or glass fiber, are capable of filtering particles down to 1 Micron. Spraytac’s baghouses are built with Pulse-Jet Cleaning Technology, which uses bursts of compressed air to clean the bags automatically, allowing for Continuous 24/7 Operation without shutdowns.

Working Principle
- Dust-Laden Air is drawn into the housing through ducts.
- Heavier Particles settle into the hopper due to gravity.
- Fine Dust is trapped on the outer surface of the filter bags.
- Clean Air passes through the filter media and exits through the outlet duct/fan.
- Periodically, the Pulse-Jet Cleaning System injects compressed air into the filter bags, dislodging dust into the hopper.
- The collected dust is then discharged via rotary valves, screw conveyors, or bins
