Pipe Shot Blasting Machine

The Pipe Shot Blasting Machine is a Dedicated Surface Preparation System designed exclusively for cleaning, descaling, and preparing the outer surface of Pipes, Tubes & Cylindrical Sections. Using Multi-Directional Blast Wheels and a specialized conveyor system, it delivers Uniform 360° Coverage in one continuous pass.

Unlike general blasting systems, the pipe shot blasting machine is tailored to handle Seamless, Welded & Spiral Pipes of varying diameters with High Consistency & Repeatability.

Application

  • Oil & Gas Industry – Pipelines before painting, wrapping, or coating.
  • Water & Sewage Pipelines – Descaling and surface preparation.
  • Steel Plants – Pre-treatment of seamless and welded pipes.
  • Construction Industry – Steel tubes and columns for structural use.
  • Energy & Power Sector – Preparation of boiler tubes and heat exchanger pipes.

Features:

  • Dedicated design for pipes and cylindrical components.
  • Multi-wheel arrangement for complete surface coverage.
  • Adjustable roller conveyors for varying diameters.
  • PLC-controlled automation and monitoring.
  • Abrasive recovery and separation system.
  • Dust collection for operator safety and compliance.
  • Rugged construction with manganese steel linings.
  • Integration-ready with pipe coating lines.

Specializations:

  • Designed exclusively for pipe blasting applications.
  • Capable of handling Small, Medium, & Large Diameter Pipes.
  • Consistent and repeatable cleaning performance.
  • Adaptable to Inline Continuous Processing Plants.
  • Low operational cost and reduced abrasive consumption.

Material Compatibility

  • Ferrous Pipes: Seamless, welded, spiral pipes.
  • Non-Ferrous Tubes: Aluminum or alloy pipes (with suitable abrasives).

Working Principle

  1. Pipes are loaded onto roller conveyors.
  2. Rollers advance and rotate the pipe while it enters the blasting chamber.
  3. Multiple Blast Wheels bombard the surface with high-speed abrasives, cleaning all sides simultaneously.
  4. Continuous pipe rotation ensures Uniform Circumferential Blasting.
  5. Spent abrasive is collected, cleaned, and recycled.
