- Foundries – Castings and forgings of varying shapes and sizes.
Y-Hanger Type Shot Blasting Machine
The Y-Hanger Shot Blasting Machine combines the Versatility of Hanger Systems with enhanced efficiency provided by a Y-shaped design. This allows multiple components to be blasted at once while ensuring Uniform Exposure to Abrasive Streams.
It is particularly useful for industries handling Intricate, Delicate, or High-Value Components that cannot collide during blasting. The compact design, energy-efficient blast wheels, and robust dust collection system make it an ideal choice for Medium to Large-Scale Production Facilities.
Standard / Customization
- Hanger Types: Y-shaped hanger with single/double hook.
- Load Capacity: 500 kg – 8,000 kg.
- Blast Wheels: 4 – 6 strategically positioned.
- Movement Options: Continuous hanger rotation and swinging for full coverage.
- Customization: Integration with overhead conveyor lines for continuous blasting.
Features:
- Y-shaped hanger with multiple load points.
- Rotational and swinging hanger motion for complete surface coverage.
- Multiple blast wheels for fast, uniform cleaning.
- Rugged chamber with wear-resistant steel lining.
- Automatic abrasive recovery and recycling system.
- Dust-free operation with advanced dust filters.
- PLC/HMI control for automation and monitoring.
- Safe and efficient loading/unloading system.
Specializations:
- Ideal for Complex & Fragile Parts.
- Capable of handling multiple components per cycle.
- Suitable for both Batch & Continuous Production Lines.
- Compact design with high efficiency.
- Low maintenance and high durability.

Material Compatibility
- Ferrous Metals: Steel, cast iron.
- Non-Ferrous Metals: Aluminum, brass, aerospace alloys.
- Suitable for Automotive, Aerospace, Defense & Fabrication Industries.
Working Principle
- Parts are hung on the Y-shaped hanger.
- The loaded hanger enters the blast chamber.
- The hanger Rotates and Swings while multiple blast wheels bombard the surfaces with abrasive media.
- All surfaces are cleaned uniformly without the need for repositioning.
- Parts are unloaded post-blasting for downstream processing.
