Application

  • Automotive Industry – Sanding of car bodies, panels, bumpers, and refinishing.
  • Aerospace – Preparation of aircraft fuselages, wings, and composite structures.
  • Furniture Manufacturing – Mass sanding of wooden furniture and veneers.
  • Metal Fabrication – Deburring, grinding, and finishing of steel/aluminum parts.
  • Construction Equipment – Large structural parts, doors, panels, and tiles.
  • Marine Industry – Sanding of boats, hulls, and fiberglass components.

Sanding Room

The Spraytac Sanding Room is a Fully Enclosed Industrial Workspace designed to provide a Controlled Environment for Sanding, Grinding, Buffing & Polishing Operations. Unlike sanding booths or walls that capture dust in localized zones, the sanding room is a Dedicated, Insulated Space With Complete Dust Extraction, Filtration & Ventilation Systems.

It is especially suited for industries handling Large Parts, Heavy Equipment, or Bulk Sanding Operations that require Dust-Free Conditions, Worker Safety & Compliance With International Health Standards.

Specializations & Options

  • Downdraft Sanding Rooms – Dust is pulled downward for maximum capture.
  • Cross-Flow Systems – Airflow directed across the workspace.
  • Semi-Downdraft Options – Balance of airflow and energy efficiency.
  • IoT-enabled Monitoring Systems – Smart dashboards for compliance.
  • Climate-Controlled Rooms – For sensitive wood/composite sanding.
  • Custom-Sized Rooms – Small to factory-scale.

Features:

  • Fully enclosed structure with modular steel panels.
  • High-capacity dust extraction and airflow management.
  • Noise-reduction panels for operator comfort.
  • Multi-stage filtration with optional HEPA add-ons.
  • Explosion-proof lighting and electricals.
  • PLC-based digital monitoring and alarms.
  • Emergency exits and fire-retardant design.
  • Recirculated clean air reduces HVAC load.
  • Customizable size and layout.

Working Principle

  1. Workpieces are brought into the sanding room, either manually or through conveyor/overhead crane systems.
  2. Operators carry out sanding operations using hand tools or machines.
  3. Dust and particulates are drawn into Strategically Placed Suction Ducts.
  4. Dust-laden air passes through Multi-Stage Filtration Systems.
  5. Clean air is recirculated back or vented outside, depending on plant design.
  6. Automatic systems monitor and clean filters to ensure uninterrupted efficiency.
