Application

  • Power Plants & Boilers – Fly ash, coal combustion particles.
  • Steel Plants & Foundries – Sinter plant dust, furnace emissions, casting sand.
  • Cement Plants – Clinker dust, pre-heater dust.
  • Woodworking – Sawdust, MDF dust, and fine chips.
  • Mining & Minerals – Ore grinding, stone crushing, and mineral dust.
  • Pulp & Paper Industry – Lime kiln dust, recovery boiler emissions.
  • Chemical & Fertilizer Plants – Powdery fertilizers, bulk solids.

Multi-Cyclone Dust Collector

The Multi-Cyclone Dust Collector is an advanced evolution of the single cyclone system, designed to achieve Higher Separation Efficiency by combining multiple small cyclonic separators into a single housing. Each mini-cyclone operates on the same principle of Centrifugal Force, but because of the smaller diameter, the efficiency of fine particle separation improves significantly.

This system is particularly effective where Large Volumes of Dusty Air must be handled continuously, and where Fine to Medium Particles need to be removed without the use of filter media. Multi-cyclones are often used as Pre-Cleaners ahead of baghouses or cartridge collectors, or as Standalone Systems in applications with abrasive and high-temperature dusts.

Working Principle

  1. Dust-Laden Air enters the multi-cyclone housing.
  2. The airstream is distributed into Multiple Small Cyclones arranged in banks.
  3. Within each cyclone, centrifugal force separates the heavier dust particles.
  4. Particles slide down the cone walls into a common dust hopper.
  5. The cleaned air rises through the inner vortex and exits from the top manifold.
  6. The dust collected in the hopper is discharged via rotary valves or conveyors.
